Hide Layer's Label by default?

Hello,

Is there a way to automatically hide a layer's label by default? I have created an app and would like the label to be hidden by default, as the legend icon is the primary identifier - but I want it so that the user can toggle the label back on if they want to see it. At the moment, 'Show labels' is default for the layer.

Hi Jason Ranjitkumar‌,

The opposite of this is possible with the Layer List widget in Web AppBuilder - I recommend upvoting the idea to have labels off by default and end users toggle them on: Layer Labels OFF by default
