Hi everyone, I’m using the Utility Network Trace widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder on ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1. When I run a downstream trace, the results highlight on the map, but the corresponding records do not appear as selected in the Table widget. What I’ve checked: * Select records is checked in the Trace widget’s results panel. * The Table widget is configured to interact with the same Map widget. * Manually selecting features using the Select tool correctly updates the table selection. * Tracing and selection work correctly in ArcGIS Pro using the same web map. Thanks for any guidance.

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Utility Network Trace widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder on ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1.

When I run a downstream trace, the results highlight on the map, but the corresponding records do not appear as selected in the Table widget.

What I’ve checked:

Select records is checked in the Trace widget’s results panel.
The Table widget is configured to interact with the same Map widget.
Manually selecting features using the Select tool correctly updates the table selection.
Tracing and selection work correctly in ArcGIS Pro using the same web map.

Thank you, Leo, for confirming. Is there a workaround available for ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1? If not, what steps should we take to obtain and upgrade to 12.2?

Sorry, there's no known workaround for this issue.

ArcGIS Enterprise is scheduled to be released in Q4 (mid-november) 2026. Documentation about the upgrade process can be found here.
