End users and developers in Thailand are trying to use Vector Tile layer in ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Location Platform and would like to customize the font the being used to label Thai language. For now they can use only 1 font (Arial Unicode MS) that support Thai language. They would like us to add more font that support Thai language in vector tile layers.
Below is a list of fonts requested to be supported:
To compare, Google's Basemap labels (upper) are more modern in comparison to Esri's (lower). For example. Noto Sans Thai has no 'rounded heads' which are considered modern. In contrast, Arial Unicode MS has 'rounded heads' and is considered classic/outdated.
