Feature Class Symbology Displaying "No Legend" in Webmap but Displays Normally

Hi there! 

I’m dealing with a pretty unique issue and could use some help. I created a File Geodatabase Feature Class in ArcPro using points to mark beach access locations. Everything works and displays perfectly in the desktop version, and the symbology shows up correctly in the legend when creating a layout.

However, when I upload the project as a web map, the beach access layer’s symbology doesn’t display correctly. The points load in on the map, and I can click them to open the attribute table. But in the layer properties under symbology, it says there is no legend. When I create an Instant App (or any application) using this map, the layer doesn’t show up in any legend. 

At first, I thought it might be a sharing issue, but the layer shares without any errors. From what I can tell, it seems like the layer I created may not be fully supported online but if that were the case, wouldn’t the layer fail to display entirely?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Katie!

Thanks for the reply. While troubleshooting some more, I was able to figure out the issue. When uploading the map, the beach access layer was uploading as a sketch layer and therefore had no data to properly display. I managed to fix the error by using the export features tool and reuploading the map.
