Measurement Units in ArcGIS Webapps

Question

The "Draw" tool on Web App shows square meters when logged out and square feet when logged in to Portal. The setting for the users can be changed based on the preferences by the admin but is there a way to change the generic measurements when "logged out" of their AGOL account.

Thanks for the reply, Venkata.

For users who are logged into the AGOL account, they see the set US Standard System. But when they are logged out, the application defaults to Metric System. I do not see a way to fix this.

Hi @SirivellaSuman,

We can only set the preferred unit for logged-in users; when they log out, it reverts to the org-level default. We can't configure per-user, but we can change the required unit for an anonymous user.

If you want to configure differently, you might need to build a custom web app using Experience Builder or JS.
