I've been making heavy use of Find Identical (Data Management)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation this week to clean up some Unions I've been creating.
My workflow is:
- Find Identical (ignoring any Shape field)
- Join to table, not keeping all input records
- Sort by sequence
- Merge (editing tool)
- Remove join
My life would be noticeably improved by the creation of a Merge Identical tool that basically does the steps I outlined above. There's a Delete Identical tool, but I don't want to lose the duplicates because then I'd get holes. I really just want to consolidate them.
Please add in a Merge Identical tool with basically the same parameters as Find Identical:
This would be really, really convenient.
