Hi everyone,
My name is Benjamin, and I’m one of the volunteers at Unity Water Foundation.
I’m excited to share this post as an open invitation to GIS enthusiasts and professionals across Africa who are passionate about making an impact. At Unity Water Foundation, we are working on meaningful, water-focused projects that rely heavily on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to drive data-informed decisions and real-world solutions.
We are currently seeking GIS volunteers at all levels:
- Beginners and new GIS users eager to learn and grow
- Intermediate users looking to apply their skills to real projects
- Advanced GIS professionals willing to mentor, innovate, and lead technical efforts
Whether you’re interested in mapping, spatial analysis, data visualization, or GIS-based research, your skills can help support communities and improve access to clean and sustainable water resources.
If you’re passionate about technology, collaboration, and creating positive change, we would love to have you join us.
Together, we can use GIS to make a difference, one map, one project, and one community at a time.
