Every time you try to create a filter in ArcGIS Online data table view and try to enter a value by wiping out the default value it always add a "1" if a numeric field.
Anyone else have this same problem? Is this a glitch?
@TD1, thanks! I took a look and I see what you mean. The "re-entering" of the value is expected. It is a way prevent the filter from having an unfinished expression. If you want to filter out the null or blank cases you would need to use a is blank/is not blank.
@bbollin yes please pass along the feedback. Thanks
I understand that is can be a little confusing 🙂 You should still be able to type in a different value, and as mentioned you can change the filter to include or exclude a blank value. I can pass the feedback along to the team though!
@bbollin seems odd to me to have to fight the system to enter a value. Even if it's considered "expected" doesn't mean it make sense.
@bbollin sure I can share. Please DM your AGOL account name and I will share with you.
Hi @TD1, this might be something to do with the data schema itself. Do you have a repro test I can have access to and investigate further? If not, then please go through esri customer support as they will get one logged and the team can investigate. Thanks!
@bbollin Sure more like when you wipe out what is in this box:
It goes blank for a second:
and then gets filled in automatically:
Hi @TD1, can you provide screenshots or steps on how to reproduce this?
