Does BIM File To Geodatabase have a maximum number of IFC files it can import?

I've had success adding about 50 IFC files into a single feature dataset. But with 184 IFC files, ArcGIS Pro 3.5.3 crashes. Running the command from a Python notebook from VSCode with Pro closed crashes the kernel. Both crashes happen around the same time, about 20 minutes in. The CPU isn't stressed, and RAM usage remains below 50% of 64GB at all times.

I intended to merge them all into a single Feature dataset, then create and publish a building scene layer.

Hello @MicZatorsky_AEC , are you confident that there is not a corrupt IFC file in the 134 you did not load the first time ? If you break those down into batches of say 50, 50 & 34, do each of them load successfully ?

@ChrisUnderwood and @DanPatterson - thank you both. It could a problem with a file. I'll partition the files into groups and test each, using a binary search to narrow it down.

For closure, it was due to an issue with one IFC file in the 180-file collection. It could be the bug Dan referenced, but I have not yet confirmed the issue.

When that one file was excluded, the tool worked as designed:
