Web Editor: Adding layer to the Search Widget blanks out the map

It is possible to add the data layer being edited to the Search widget, but when you save the Web Map, the whole map goes blank and the map becomes useless.

The workaround is a bit clunky: It involves using the Select by Attributes interface. Not optimal, but workable.

Hi @Bill_VS, are you referring to the Web Editor Instant App template? If so, this is something the team is aware of and will be resolved in the next update of ArcGIS Online. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Excellent! I must have been provided the wrong forum by the Bug Report folks at AGOL63-000362 - ArcGIS Online, who said it was better classified as an Enhancement, and should be reported here.
