Creating a DTM with raster calculator in ArcGIS 10.1

I am to create a DTM using raster calculator in ArcGIS 10.1. The base is a raster data. I have some difficulties with how to use raster calculator in this case. I was wondering if someone could help me or give some hint how to do it. Thanks a lot!
