Multiline Text Box to actually increase the size of the box in ArcGIS Field Maps

In Field Maps Designer, if you change the input type of a box to Text - Multiline, it doesn't actually change the appearance in ArcGIS Field Maps (other than you can press return for additional lines), it still appears as single line. If you increased the size of the box when using the multiline option, this would make life much easier for field workers when they are adding free text.

@JosephHilliard94 once you enter enough text, Field Maps automatically wraps to a new line, and expands the height of the text box to accommodate it. That auto-resizing of the box's height will not happen with a single line text box.

Is the Idea here that the Text - Multiline should appear different initially, so as to give the field worker a visual indication that sets an expectation that they need to enter more than just one line of text for such a field? Is that what you mean by "make life easier"?

Hi Peter, agreed, it does. The idea is that the multiline should automatically appear larger to suggest to the user that it is multiline as it just appears a single line box otherwise.

Incluso cuando un campo está configurado como Texto - Multilínea, inicialmente aparece como un cuadro de texto de una sola línea. También hemos descubierto que los saltos de línea no se conservan al pegar contenido desde otras aplicaciones móviles.

Tener campos multilínea que se muestren como un área de texto más grande desde el principio y que conserven los saltos de línea de manera confiable al pegar facilitaría mucho trabajar con notas largas y plantillas de notas reutilizables en dispositivos móviles.
