PowerBI Map Projection Options

It would be really helpful if there was a way to update the map projection in ArcGIS for PowerBI. I have polar data with points in North Pole and they fall off of the Mercator Projection default in PoweBI. Is there a work around for changing the projection, or are there future plans to have different projection options?

Is there a way to change the projection of the basemap?

@CatherineDevitt You will need to publish a basemap in the projection you want and add it to the basemap gallery. You can see https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/custom-Basemap-gallery for more details. you should be then able to use the basemap you want in your Power BI visual.
