Scheduled Tool Failing on Delete Rows

Hi, Please help! I have a model that i use daily to update a table and share it to ArcGIS Online to display as a dashboard to the public. It creates a point feature class from my table that I update daily, then deletes and appends the data to an ArcGIS Online hosted feature layer. The model runs on command, and it ran for months with the Schedule tool from about February 2024-January 2025. It stopped unexpectedly running as scheduled and I get an error message now when I try to run it from the schedule, but it works just fine if I simply run the model from the ModelBuilder window.

What should I do? I like the schedule tool and I want it to work again. I attached files showing the model, the python script for the model, a screenshot showing the messages generated when the model runs successfully from the ModelBuilder window, and a screenshot showing the messages generated when the scheduled tool fails.

Any tips are appreciated! My IT does not think this is a user access or Windows Task Scheduler issue.

Thank you both for your help- I was able to fix my issue by completely rebuilding the model. The only thing I changed was designating parameters in the model before I scheduled the tool. I'm not sure why it worked after rebuilding from scratch, except that maybe the new ArcGIS pro update made the model unusable. All is good now with the scheduling tool!

Hello Sadie,
if you haven't already. please check the feature service right after the scheduled run to see if the rows may have been deleted after all. A suspicion is that the issue is with Append and the feature service --- only a suspicion at this time. There's ongoing work on Append with feature service input.

That's why it's also helpful if you please provide the version of ArcGIS Pro you're running.

And, please take a few minutes and reflect what changes may have occurred since January on your machine and/or the network you're on.
