Help/Tutor for Associate exam

Question

Hi all

I am fairly new to this community. I hope someone out there can help me.

My company requested me to complete the Associate accreditation exam. I have been working with the latest version of ArcGIS Pro and Arc On-line since march 2024.

I have attempted the exam but could only pass 1 section(visualization). I have no idea what I scored in the other sections. If i pass this exam it will have a great impact on my income.

Our company will not use the full capability of the Arc Pro platform but they still want me to compete it. We work in the field of international aid monitoring n mainly non-permissive countries.

I am looking for someone to tutor/mentor me through the process.

I will also appreciate some advice on how to build up to the accreditation so I can confidently sit the next exam.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to @MJerling for posting this question, AND to ESRI Community members who were willing to help out.

I have been spending time helping out students and young professionals to learn and hone skill sets and gain real-time experience, urging collaborations for sustainable development (think SDG, targets and indicators).  Was pleased to begin reviewing the 2025 Sustainable Development Report after it was launched yesterday.   ESRI software and tools have played an important role, helping to locate and improve data around the globe, and how ESRI Community members support each other to improve their skills and grow professionally will be studied as an important factor.

Hi @MJerling, thanks for the additional info. Aside from the 22-course learning plan and the exam information guide, Esri does not offer specific tutoring/hands-on help options. If any of your peers at your organization have achieved a certification, I’d recommend connecting with them. There is also an Esri Technical Certification space in Esri Community and a LinkedIn group.

Because Esri’s exams are based on conceptual knowledge as well as the hands-on application of those concepts, if you are not getting exposure to these workflows, it will be difficult to achieve success with the ArcGIS Pro Associate exam.

I’d encourage you to consider taking the GIS Fundamentals Foundation or ArcGIS Pro Foundation exams as they may be more suitable option to start until you can gain more experience in the areas you didn't pass.

Also, I wanted to let you know that the Esri technical certification team just released a brand-new version of the ArcGIS Pro Associate exam. The 2101 version was created in 2021, so if you choose to retake the ArcGIS Pro Associate exam, I’d suggest taking the new 2025 version. And the ArcGIS Pro Foundation level exam will release an updated version in April 2025.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. i have been in transit for the last few days.

Is is the Associate 2101 certification. i have completed the 23 courses suggested for the course and I have attempted the exam twice.

I still feel very out of my depth especially because there are so many aspects of the accreditation that I have never worked on and probably never will considering what the company I work for does.

I appreciate all the help I can get.
