Experience Builder URL mobile parameters stripped

Question

Hi peeps,

I noticed that in my EB map, when I zoom to a location, turn on certain layers and then share that link with the URL parameters, it works in desktop, but does not work on my iphone.  The map just goes to the default.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Here's an example link: https://arcg.is/1eTGiu1

Hi @LeaneHieber, looks like you are using different maps for desktop and mobile. These maps have different widget IDs. When the extent changes on the desktop, the URL parameters will only be saved to the map on the desktop - the one on mobile will not be affected, that's why the map extent remains default when you open the link with URL parameters on a mobile device.

Currently, there's no walkaround for this case. You can still use a custom layout for your mobile but I would recommend using the same map widget so that the URL parameters can be shared across different screens.
