Add a "Back to Top" button in Catalog Pane

When you are navigating to a dataset deep in a folder path and then want to get back to your databases you currently have to scroll the mouse all the way to the top.

Add a button on the right side to click to scroll to the top of the pane.

You can currently use 'Home' key but that requires you to remove your hand from the mouse.

I forgot I added another idea ages ago to bring back the Go To Default GDB or Folder buttons which would make life easier too:

Thank you for your feedback. I am assuming you are talking about navigation improvement in the Catalog pane. While we have not implemented your idea, we did implement the request in this idea https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/navigating-catalog-with-back-arrow/idi-p/1115536, which we hope would help achieve what you need. With the release of ArcGIS 3.6, when you are "deep" in a lower level node in the catalog tree in the Catalog pane, you can use the back arrow to quickly collapse the parent container of the currently selected node, and, if needed, use the back arrow repeatedly to quickly close the ancestor nodes further up in the tree. Although this is not a one click solution to your issue, it does speed up the process of getting to the upper node that you are trying to get to.

I still believe that having a navigation button will be of overall benefit. In a perfect world one should have a minimum of cross-device hand movements. It is hard to achieve in a complex app but adding common navigation assistants definitely goes a long way.

Can you please update the Idea to Open or Under Consideration. I get the impression you understand the goal of the Idea and no further clarification is actually needed?
