Experience Builder: Placing and collecting points based on GPS'ed location.

Question

Hello,

I've created an app in ArcGIS Online: Experience Builder.

Everything seems to work really well! Although, when I go to the Edit widget, I can place down a point by selecting on the map.

My question is rather than selecting on the map to place a point, can I place and/or collect a point directly on my GPS'ed location? Is there a hotkey, another widget or means of doing so within Experience Builder?

I just want to confirm I'm correctly understanding the My Location widget's capabilities. At present, there's no way to directly use a GPS-plotted location point (or path) as the location for a new feature in an existing feature layer?

Is the only option (without some form of post-processing) to use My Location to create a generic location point or path, and then use the Edit widget to create a new feature in the actual data layer and snap its location onto the record created using the My Location widget?

Thanks for your post! The points collected with My Location can be exported to local files or AGOL items, allowing you to save the records. Hopefully, this meets your needs.
