Create a map where everyone can add markers

I'm trying to create a simple map/layer where everyone that has the link can add markers to. Is this possible in arcgis online? I've tried making a featured map, setting editing to enabled and having someone add points on it (on some sort of sketch layer) however it does not save when others add things.

Sketch layers are stored in the map which requires you to save the map to preserve the sketches. You would have to use a feature layer that has public data collection enabled if its a map you are sharing out is set to Everyone.
