Hi All,simple question, what is the tool to split a thematic layer (ie roads with 8 categories 'paved','gravel', etc) into 8 separate layers where the theme is converted into a Definition Query?

will split the roads layer into separate featureclasses based on the unique values in a field producing separate layers, but there is not mention of it being converted to a definition query
