Could you share any examples where you'd use clustering in SceneView? This helps us prioritize the feature and to understand the 3D-specific needs once we implement this.

We need 3D clustering because our software that is sold to our clients uses 2D and 3D assets management geolocalization. Users can easily switch from 2D and 3D maps, they can build map from bunches of many layers of different types (most of them are featureLayers) and they also can geolocalize assets that have their coordinates in a database. For this last we use client side GraphicsLayer(s). Clustering functions are available but it is written in java on application server. We want to use the built-in clustering functionalities that come with client side FeatureLayer. But to perform this switch from GraphicsLayer to client side FeatureLayer this we need both 2D and 3D clustering.

¿Este tema sigue activo en su backlog? Han pasado más de 2 años desde la última respuesta.

Estoy trabajando en una implementación de un mapa basado en un 3D SceneView. Sería genial tener la función de clustering para mapas 3D. Hasta ahora, solo está disponible el tipo de reducción de función "selection" para 3D SceneView, y no funciona muy bien para nuestra implementación.
