Adding Feature Class to SDE After it was Deleted

Question

I deleted a feature class in our development Oracle enterprise geodatabase. I did this in Catalog in ArcGIS Pro by right-clicking the dataset and selecting Delete.

When I try to replace it using the Feature Class to Geodatabase tool, I get an error that says it already exists. However it is not showing in Catalog.

Is there anything I can do to get this to work again?

If you used the Pro, this should have removed all the related records in the repository tables.

If you try to create a new feature class with the same name (a dummy empty one) do you get the same error?

If so, you may want to contact Esri Technical Support to have them investigate this in more detail.

@JoshBillings , I am not sure about Oracle, but when I used PostgreSQL - you had to use the DROP command to fully delete.
