ArcGIS Pro- Backwards compatibility of Pro 3.1.2 with Pro 3.0.2 Error Message

Hello ArcGIS Pro Team, 

We're currently working between Pro versions 3.1.2 and 3.0.2, when opening a 3.1.2 Pro project in 3.0.2 we noticed the backwards compatibility message flashed- 

 

Is there an issue in backwards compatibility between these two major versions? We know there's an issue with Pro 2.9 but found it strange to see this within the 3.0 upgraded versions. 

 

Can someone answer this question? We would like to notify our users if there is a known compatibility issue.

Earlier minor versions of ArcGIS Pro can open documents created in later minor versions of the same major release, but new functionality will be unavailable.
