Easiest Way to Replicate Features (Schemas & Domains) without Data

Question

I am going to be working with multiple water systems and will end up using the same features and want to have static schemas/domain rules for each feature in separate geodatabases.

What is the easiest workflow to do this? I thought maybe just copying the feature into a new database and deleting all the attribute data in it, but I fear this will cause some kind of problems.

The Export and Import XML Workspace tools sound like they would do exactly what you need, if you use the "Schema only" export & import options.

(Although I admit that I've used the method you described and never had any issues despite it not being "best practice," per see. Yet, at least! I may have just jinxed myself
