Transparent labeling

Labels with or w/o backgrounds to have transparent slider, text box for adjusting. Transparency for labels and graphic text was posted 12-29-2017 didn't draw much attention, but would like to get it implemented in Arc 3.something. Is there any interest in having this available in a new release of Arcgis? If it's there now, I don't see it.

You can change the transparency of the text symbol through the color parameter on the text fill symbol.
