North arrow not showing in exported arcmap layout

Hi everyone,

Every time I export any map to either JPEG or a PDF the North Arrow does not show for the jpeg or the pdf. I have also tried adjusting the PDF settings and that has not helped either.

Is there some way to work around this? An assistance or advice is appreciated.

Yes and with both scenarios the result is the same.

Did you click the option "Embed All Document Fonts" in the Format tab?
