so i have added a new field to the assignments layer but it doesn't show in the dispatcher portal either when creating a new assignment or viewing / editing an existing assignment.
how do i get it to show?

Unfortunately, this is not supported by Workforce. It is in our roadmap to support when Workforce is added to Field Maps, but at this time, there is no workaround for this to allow the field to be displayed when viewing or editing an assignment.
