Error with the article: How To Limit access to secured hosted services in AGOL

Hello, I'm trying to follow this article... https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000017029 But as you can see from the screenshot below, I'm getting 'Error generating token'. The credentials are correct - they're the same ones that I use to log in to ArcGIS Online. Does anyone know what might be the cause? Thanks.

Hi Jayanta,

Yes I've tried it on more than one computer, and tried it having cleared browser cache.

As for your final question, sorry could you give a bit more detail about that? I'm quite new to AGOL.

Did you test it on different browsers? Does the error persist across all the browsers? Does clearing the cache help?

Check if rebooting the machine resolves the problem.

Are you able to add the layer to the webmap directly?
