Remove Related Tables From a Layer View?

Hello! 

I'm working with a hosted feature layer that is used for data collection that is not available to the public at the moment. We would like to share specific aspects of data to the public by creating a layer view within AGO. This layer has related tables attached to it that we would like to not have available to the public. Is there any way to remove these tables when creating a layer view?

I am also interested in figuring out how to do this/if it is possible. It would be nice to be able to remove related tables from View layers when they contain information that is not appropriate/relevant to the public.
