For those who have played the original games, I have an another question: Has the different control scheme impacted the options you choose to use or not use?

I've encountered a mapping challenge that delves into the realm of custom projections, and I'm in need of some expert advice. I'm working with a shapefile that needs to be projected into a custom coordinate system which, unfortunately, doesn't have a corresponding EPSG code. The issue arises when attempting to align this…
Hello! I am facing issues with projections when I try to match custom projections with EPSG projections from ArcMap. I have a xarray.Dataset in python with the following coordinate system: '+proj=lcc +units=m +a=6370000.0 +b=6370000.0 +lat_1=30.0 +lat_2=60.0 +lat_0=40.0 +lon_0=-97.0 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +k_0=1.0 +nadgrids=@null…
Hi, I am relatively new to the ESRI world so I hope this makes sense. I am mapping fiber networks for a telecom company and I have been appending individual fiber areas into one main fiber network. This main database is a traditional versioned GDB that resides in Enterprise SQL data store. The projection for the data set…
Hello everyone, I received a shapefile (which was not zipped and maybe that is the issue it came in the email as just a .shp etc.) which I threw into a folder. This data was a CADD file not sure if it was microstation or auto desk, but it had been converted to a shapefile and needed a projection assigned to it. I did that…
Hello. I'm quite new to ArcGIS and need to know how to change the orientation of a specific layer keeping other layers in the frame fixed. When I tried rotation, all the other layers too get rotated. Both layers are in the same coordinate reference system. (Given in the screenshot below, I need to rotate the top layer…
I am testing a work flow that would allow Field Maps to collect data in a StatePlane projection. If I publish a point FC to AGOL in StatePlane - I can edit (create new data) in the AGOL Classic Map Viewer - but not the new style viewer. Subsequently, I cannot edit the data in Field Maps. Any hints on how to achieve this?
Hello Tech. I'm working on a project that requires National level DEM data, and I'd like to thank ESRI for providing the imagery layer (https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=0383ba18906149e3bd2a0975a0afdb8e). * For the most part, the extracted point values from the USGS raster and the ESRI imagery layer are very close.…
