Quick tip: User Groups are focused spaces for specific topics, products, or projects. Some are open to anyone; others require a request or invitation from a Group Owner or Leader.
Steps
- Click User Groups in the Community navigation (or search for a User Group by name using the search bar).
- Browse the list and click the group you want to join.
- Click Join on the righthand side of the page.
- Public User Group: You join immediately.
- Private User Group (Request-to-join): Your request is sent to the Group Owner and Leader for approval - you'll be notified when accepted.
- Secret User Group (Invitation-only): Invisible to the public; You need an email invite from a Group Owner or Leader before you can join.
4. Once joined, you'll see the group's discussions, events, and announcements in your feed.
What's next? Need to leave a User Group? You can do so at any time from the User Group by clicking the ellipsis (…) menu and selecting Leave Group.
