Quick tip: Use the New Post button from the ArcGIS Ideas page or from any product category page.
Steps
- Navigate to the ArcGIS Ideas tab on the global navigation bar.
- Click New Post and select New Idea.
- Click Choose Category in the Post a Discussion ribbon.
- Search for the product in the Category field, and choose Idea for the Post Type.
- Fill out the Idea Title, Description, and Tag fields. When writing the description, reference this simple framework: As a [role/industry], I need [feature/task], so that [impact/value]. Review the ArcGIS Ideas Submission Guidelines for more guidance on writing an idea.
- Click Post to publish.
Alternatively, click New Post in the upper right corner of any product category and select the Idea post type. If you do not see the option to select New Idea, it means the product category is not accepting ideas at this time.
