Comprehensive list of Content_Type values in Attachment Tables?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there's a comprehensive list of values for the "Content_Type" field in an attachment table?

I'd be fine with even a list of prefixes (image, application)

I see someone else had this question elsewhere but it was never answered.

Here we go. Browse to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\Lib and look for the file mimetypes.py.

Well interesting, found 2 .bmp types is it any error or how it understand:

Interesting... the exe comes in as application/x-msdownload, the tarball as application/x-gzip. The others, "Unknown".

I'd originally misunderstood the post, but I see what you mean now. According to the Pro SDK docs, it's just pulling in the MIME type. I tried adding a few random selections from the full list of MIME types, and most came in as "Unknown". Clearly, there's a subset list of MIME types that Pro is recognizing, but I can't seem to find it.

I would agree that having the comprehensive list would be useful.

I'm trying to filter some stuff based on content type, and knowing what all the options are would help.

Most of the examples you used would appear as "Unknown"

I think the answer is "there isn't one".

You can attach pretty much anything you want.
