Remember settings in ArcGIS Online Measure tool

Settings on the Measure tool in ArcGIS Online revert to the default (like area measurement and square miles) when you close the tool. I'd like the tool to remember the last settings you made and use those when you reopen the tool.

Here's the thing: you may want to make several measurements of the same kind--like several distance measurements in feet--but you don't want to make them continuously. I mean you want to do other things in between your measurements. That means you have to close the Measure box. Then when you reopen it, you have to reapply your settings. 

It would also be nice if you could set some preferences on the Measure tool. Distance measurements only have one decimal point of precision. It would be nice if you could change this to two or three--especially for measurements made in miles.
