Create standard ArcGIS terms and definitions

I think that it would be helpful for new users if there was a list of ArcGIS terms and their definitions. In my organization I am starting to try and prepare training information and although I understand what each item is it would be helpful to have a set of definitions to reference.

From the main Esri Support site at http://support.esri.com/en/ look for GIS Dictionary under the Knowledge Base section in the middle of the page. Or the direct link to the dictionary is http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebase/Gisdictionary/browse . Or do a search in the Support page for GIS dictionary - the first 2 items that brings up for me are http://wiki.gis.com/wiki/index.php/GIS_Glossary and http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebase/gisdictionary/browse
