Copy coordinates in data frame.

I've always wished that the Select Elements tool from the Tools Toolbar had a "Copy Coordinates" item in the right-click context menu, that would copy the coordinates at the point you right-click, using the Data Frame's Display Units.

ArcGIS Desktop retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application.

ArcGIS Pro supports copying coordinates directly from the map by right-click > copy coordinates.
