It would be more efficient if we could double-click on a piece of anno in order to edit the TextString field, directly on the map itself.
Do you mean like this?
Close, but I'm thinking of being able to edit the "Baghlan" text itself and not just the properties of it, and without needing a pop-up box or the Edit Attributes tab. This idea is from how to edit a Text Box in a PDF file using Adobe. You double-click on the text box and it becomes ready for editing the actual Text itself, while its properties are modified using a toolbar. This seems to be more efficient.
Thanks for the clarification. You can edit the "Baghlan" text itself, but yes, you do have to click the Annotation edit tool to activate it. The idea is open for voting:)
Hi - it's possible to do this inline editing in ArcGIS pro
using the edit annotation tool, double click on the annotation feature and then you are able to type into it
