As a an Arcade noobie, I seem to be bumping into inconsistencies with the Profiles of various functions. Please develop increased viability with FeatureDataSetByName(). If I'm using services as data sources and need to calculate values on other data sources, the $map global should allow me to do that in ArcGIS Pro.
Especially when you are using data that you don't maintain but have the map service for. It should never be in the datastore if you don't own/maintain it.
