ABSTRACT: " As GIS practitioners, we often think the battle is over when we’ve collected or analyzed our data. But an effective map has a point of view and makes a case. To do either, you need to know where you’re coming from, and who you are talking to. Help your audience, or the communities represented in your maps, better understand your work with user-centered design.
