Mallory Valley Utility District is looking for a qualified, self-motivated GIS and Asset Coordinator. The GIS and Asset Coordinator will be tasked with the daily operation of the District’s enterprise GIS program and mapping duties. The position will work directly under the Assistant General Manager, but coordinate efforts with staff.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of geographic information systems, GIS visionary, with the willingness to learn, along with working experience in utilities. The ideal candidate will be expected to complete projects in the office and field, leverage data from internal and external sources and develop products for staff, officials, and the general public to consume. The ideal candidate will also identify and leverage new software or methods to address challenges faced by the District.
