I am reposting the original document as a pdf since I can no longer edit the original post. 

New additions and updates will be posted here.  Spyder is currently at version 4.1.5 .

I have updated many packages in the base/main arcgispro-py3 environment.  I don't use a clone.

Currently tested with numpy version ... 1.19.1.  Python has been upgraded from 3.6.9 to 3.1.12 (the last of the 3.6 series).

Dependencies

Mandatory Bold highlighted modules are useful in their own right, but required by Spyder.  They are installed with Spyder, so no separate installations are needed.	atomicwrites, chardet, cloudpickle, diff_match_patch, intervaltree, IPython, jedi, nbconvert, numpydoc, paramiko, parso, pexpect, pickleshare, psutil, pygments, pylint, pyls, qdarkstyle, qtawesome, qtconsole, qtpy, rtree, sphinx, spyder_kernels, watchdog, zmq
Optional Bold highlighted modules are used by arcpy and/or the arcgis module.	cython, matplotlib, numpy, pandas, scipy, sympy
