Inundation model for London

Question

Hello,

I'm going to do some simulations on flood in London.

I've got the following data:

* DTM/DSM
* Rivers
* Buildings

It doesn't have to be a complex model that includes complex parameters like Rainfall, Soil, Tidal, wind, Geology (drift), Drainage etc.

Just what would happen if the water level raises by X meters.

I could find a nice tutorial on youtube:

but assumes there must be an out-of-the-box tool for that in the Hydrology toolboxes.

Which tool should I be using?

Ahh no... there are considerations to be made and this is not a frequently asked question, hence, there is no one-button solution

Either one of the two, it just seems to me that the instructions in the video are too complicated for what should be a very common and basic question. There must be a dedicated tool for that?

are you referring to ArcHydro or the Hydrology tools in the Spatial Analyst extension
