ESA's Earth observation program, Copernicus, provides entirely new and special remote sensing capabilities to detect environmental changes on Earth. A central component is the Sentinel satellites.<\/P>
ArcGIS for Desktop supports the data type of the optical Sentinel 2 satellite in a special way. The data offers higher resolution than Landsat 7 or 8, is updated more frequently, provides interesting spectral information, and is completely free.
