The version 2.0 beta of the Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS Developer Edition has been released, which now allows you to create web apps that display 3D data.

This version internally uses the ArcGIS JavaScript API v4.0 beta 3, which can display 3D web scenes. Programmatically, important properties of the web scene such as viewpoint, extent, zoom level, scale, camera settings, etc., can be set.

In the area of 2D maps, the functionality from the previous version has been adopted. For 3D maps, various new widgets have been added such as a compass widget, a 3D coordinates widget, an environment widget, a 3D layer list widget, a full-screen widget, a 3D navigation widget, a slides widget, and a search widget for 3D data.
