On GitHub we have provided you with our examples for configuring GeoEvent Services and using real-time data in JavaScript clients.
Now to your questions:
- Is there a possibility to use a map area, including coordinates, offline as well, i.e., without an internet connection, for example if the event data is read from a database and should be displayed offline in this map section?
The GeoEvent Extension for ArcGIS can of course also be operated offline. There just needs to be a connection to the data source possible, e.g., via an internal network. If the data should be displayed on a map in a client, this is also possible offline. The client only needs to be able to access the output channel of the GeoEvent Extension. However, the base map must also be available on a local server since a connection to ArcGIS Online is not possible. For a JavaScript client, you also need to download and locally host the API.
