AppStudio for ArcGIS<\/A> is an innovative application for creating mobile map apps for Android, iOS, Mac, Linux, and Windows. Apps are created once and are then cross-platform<\/A> and immediately usable on any device. Programming skills are not necessary to create apps with AppStudio for ArcGIS because it contains a number of configurable app templates that allow control over appearance, behavior, and content.<\/P>

Once the app is finished, it can be tested on all devices and shared organization-wide or made publicly available via Apple App Store, Google Play, Ubuntu Apps Directory, and Windows Store.<\/P>

Developers can customize existing app templates with the

AppStudio Desktop Editions<\/A> and also create completely custom apps. This is supported by the full power of ArcGIS Runtime<\/A>.<\/P>

Support for ArcGIS Runtime Version 100.1<\/H4>Now all possibilities of the latest ArcGIS Runtime generation can be used in AppStudio, e.g., apps with 3D Scenes or the use of data formats like Mobile Map Packages<\/A> and Vector Tile Basemaps.<\/P>

Improved App Templates<\/H4>The Map Viewer Template has an intuitive new interface alongside new features and now offers an adaptive design for all screen sizes. The Quick Report Template has received, among other things, a new camera module, dark/light themes, and the ability to work offline.<\/P><\/P><\/P>New Look & Feel of the AppStudio Desktop Edition<\/H4>The Desktop Edition was redesigned from the ground up and now offers a configurable interface, quick access to tools, and also the popular dark/light themes. Apps and samples can be found faster through tags or other filter options.<\/P><\/P><\/P><\/P>New Possibilities for Developers<\/H4>In AppStudio various AppFramework Plugins<\/A> have been implemented for Local Notification, Vibration, Background Location, Promises, and SQL Storage.
