After last year's Esri Story Map Challenge, Esri Inc. is once again hosting a competition this year: the Esri Global Content Challenge. Here you will learn what it is, how to participate, and what you can win.
Who can participate?
Students and graduates of all universities and colleges as well as pupils from advanced geography courses or seminar subjects.
What is the contribution?
Use the Premium content from Esri on the topics of land surface, oceans, and population to create a scientific Story Map on one of these topics. You will use the Map Journal App for this.
What can you win?
In each topic area (land surface, oceans, and population), the following prizes will be awarded:
1st place – $10,000
2nd place – $5,000
3rd place – $2,000
or software in the respective prize category.
Which dates and deadlines are important?
August 2016 – Start of the competition
November 2016 – Submission deadline for the Story Maps
December 2016 – Announcement of the winners
