GIS can support education in many ways. GIS stimulates geographic thinking, supports the collection, visualization, and analysis of fieldwork data, and can be used as a presentation tool in the form of StoryMaps. <\/P>

This forum is for all teachers who work with GIS, want to work with it, or are simply interested. It is the place where you can share your lesson ideas with other teachers, inspire each other, and ask technical questions. Esri gladly supports teachers who (want to) work with GIS, which is why we have created the <\/SPAN>ArcGIS for Schools program<\/A> <\/SPAN>. <\/P> <\/P>Secondary school teachers can apply for an ArcGIS for Schools license that provides schools with an ArcGIS for Schools learning environment for up to 500 users (teachers, students, volunteers). The learning environment includes, besides its own ArcGIS Online portal, the use of fieldwork applications for modern environmental education, data analysis and presentation tools, access to the living atlas, and Dutch-language teaching materials.<\/P><\/BODY><\/HTML>
