Since early July 2018, the new ArcGIS Runtime<\/A> Major Release Version 100.3 has been available. ArcGIS Runtime is a family of multiple SDKs for developing native geo-apps for all relevant platforms. The update is described as Phase 1 of the complete, true support of 3D Web GIS across all APIs. In addition to bug fixes, performance improvements, and platform-specific changes (e.g., use of .NET Standard 2.0<\/A> in the .NET SDK), there are new and extended functionalities. Here is a selection:<\/P><\/P>Support for 3D Web Scenes<\/STRONG><\/P>In ArcGIS, a Web Map<\/A> is the description of a fully configured 2D map. Web Scenes<\/A>, on the other hand, are the equivalent for maps in 3D. These can now be used in ArcGIS Runtime. 3D objects in scenes can be identified and selected, and their display can be adjusted by changing the renderer of the scene.<\/P>Furthermore, interactive measuring in 3D scenes is now supported and the visibility analysis (viewshed) has been improved (now 360 degrees).<\/P><\/P><\/P>3D Web Scene<\/P><\/P><\/P>Further Highlights:<\/STRONG><\/P><\/P>WMS support has been expanded, so contents can now be filtered by time and the display of layers can be changed through available styles.<\/LI>Labeling has been improved<\/LI>The App-6(B) and App-6(D) specifications have been added for military symbols<\/LI>Many new samples for all SDKs<\/LI>and much more.<\/LI><\/UL><\/P>Detailed information about all new features in ArcGIS Runtime 100.2.1 can be found in this News Blog<\/A> from Esri Inc. and in the release notes of the various SDKs on the ArcGIS for Developers Portal<\/A>.<\/P><\/BODY><\/HTML>
