Default language in Survey 123 in not English

I wish to use Spanish as the default language for Survey123. I am fine with everything except for when I want to have the "other" option available for the "select_one" or "select_multiple" lists. The default for "other" is in English. For the purposes of the survey, I do not need an English version.

Is there a way that I can specify the "other" to return in Spanish as well as the default box of "specify other"?

Can I do this without having to change the default language of the XML file?

Hi Amy,

the 'or other' suffix to a select_one is really a shortcut that only works in English at the moment.  The shortcut simply creates a new question 'Other' that is displayed when someone checks 'Other' in select_one or select_multiple.

If you really want the form in a language other than English, I suggest you create the 'Other' option manually as follows:

By adding this question manually as described, you will also be able to translate it into as many languages as specified in your Survey.  Simply use the label:language1, label::language2 etc columns.
